You provided a great team of workers who were very conscientious, professional, and efficient. We especially appreciate your flexibility and coordination with other contractors, our residents, and the commercial tenants who needed to stay open for business during the work. We had no trouble in reaching mutually acceptable solutions to various issues that arose as the job progressed. With this cooperation, the job was completed on time and on budget. The combination of wood shingles, stucco, and patio surfaces, as well as the four-story height of the building, made the job a challenging one. Although some bidders said they would need scaffolding to get the job done, you said you could do it at far less cost with a lift, which you did with no compromise in quality. As anyone who is a part of a home owners association may well know, group decisions are difficult to make, especially when it comes to painting. After contacting us for an estimate in January of 2009, we worked with the board for 9 months until the projects came to fruition. With 18 condos and 18 commercial units, Mountain Heights was a sizeable job, however, our efficiency and ability to adapt made the job go smoothly. While other contractors were set on scaffolding the front of the building, our ability to use a lift to access difficult areas both helped the job come in on time, under budget, and without disrupting the business’s and homeowners that were trying to operate inside. In addition to a full exterior repaint, we also did significant shingle replacement on the front of the building, fixing broken and warped shingles so that the finished product was as clean as possible. At Signature Painting one of our main focuses is working with homeowners associations and management companies to provide painting services for residential community projects. We recently painted The Grove HOA, a community consisting of 36 luxury townhomes in Walnut Creek, CA. HOA Painting is a lot different then your standard residential project simply because you are working with multiple homeowners. With this, there is a lot more communication required. To facilitate the process Signature Painting leaves a series of five notifications on all front doors and common areas so that all homeowners know were we are on the project at all times. We even schedule an individual time to paint front doors and can come on Saturdays if necessary. This project required a lot of prep work, priming, and two coats of Elastomeric Paint. We also changed the look and feel of the community by selecting a new and modern color scheme with the help of our professional color consultants at Kelly Moore Paint Company.
